1036366/28/2004 3:24:44 PMI want to use the stock rear motor mounts (on the bellhousing). Does Lakewood make a bellhousing that accommodates this? The bellhousing listed for 55-57 Chevys (#15003) doesn't look like it has these provisions?

931761/14/2004 12:00:00 AMI have a concern more than a question. I publish a small AMC "fanzine" and get lots of inquiries and questions about parts. I know Lakewood is FINALLY making an AMC manual trans scattershield again (Part number is Lakewood 15411). I'd like to know why Lakewood has decided to use a Chevy style scattershield with Muncie bolt pattern and depth. If this is not correct, please let me know what patterns and depth will be used. Most AMCers use the AMC six bell housing (same bolt pattern as V-8, 72 and later) and the Ford small block type transmission...

9150212/6/2003 12:00:00 AMI see in the National Dragster magazine that you have a SFI 6.1 approved aluminum bellhousing for Chevy. Is it a direct replacement for Lakewood part # 15000? What is the part number? I don't see it on your web site unless it's the P4700, not SFI approved. Thanks, Winston www.3cracing.com

9128212/1/2003 12:00:00 AMI was informed by Jeff Lee that Lakewood is in the process of mfg new SFI bellhousings, BUT using a shollower depth?!? Not a good idea for the 'current' applications for several AMC guys using T-10s and 833s as this requires many parts replacing/modifications! Just curious WHY this 'less depth' decision was made?!
9101511/23/2003 12:00:00 AM The problem is the clutch fork is hitting the firewall. There is no room for the clutch fork to move. part#1500 bellhousing part#15500 clutch fork.
